The tricky thing about real estate market reports is that they’re never really a snapshot of TODAY’S market, and more of a look back in time. Because what closed in September, was potentially listed as far back as May. So even though this month’s closings aren’t necessarily a representation of what’s going today, it can work as a good predictor for the future, provided that not much else changes, like a new pandemic or a drastic rise in interest rates. Take a look at these numbers and use them as a guide to how our local market operates. Make sure to pay attention to List Date, List to Sale Price Ratio, and DOM (days on market.)
