I began my career in real estate in 2010. Prior to becoming a Realtor, I spent more than 15 years in the television business as a producer and eventually as a development executive. It was there that I honed my ability to sell, negotiate and oversee all aspects of a deal, making sure nothing ever falls through the cracks.
I have built my reputation on providing my clients with concierge service that begins at the first meeting and lasts well beyond the closing table. I know it is crucial to provide unparalleled service by listening well, guiding thoughtfully, and negotiating always with my client’s best interests. For me, knowing that as a Realtor I get to make a meaningful contribution in the lives of my clients by helping them find a place to raise their families while becoming vital members of their communities, is everything.
In addition to my role as an agent, I was the President of the West Essex Board of Realtors for 2 years, a member of the National Association of Realtors, and the New Jersey Association of Realtors. I have also been awarded the New Jersey Realtors® Circle of Excellence Sales Award every year since 2013.
I was born in Russia, grew up in Brooklyn, and spent my young adult life bouncing around New Jersey while commuting to NYC as a reality TV producer. Despite being a bit of a homebody and needing to have an emotional connection to my home, I’ve moved a lot in my life – I’ve lived in apartments and townhouses and single family homes, new constructions, old Victorians, and mid-century ranches – each of them feeling like the right fit for that point in my life.
I bought and sold places before I, myself, was in real estate, and had no idea what I was doing. I’ve made many mistakes and learned a lot of lessons, and many of those experiences are still a blur. But fortunately, I had some great people whom I trusted who've helped walk me through the process and helped me get to where I wanted to go with my finances and sanity in tact.
Now, as a Realtor®, I’m glad that I can be that person for others, someone who helps them navigate their way through the bumps and pitfalls of buying or selling a house while trying to find their way home, wherever that may be. I understand that buying a house is more than a financial transaction - it’s looking for a place to call home and as we all know, there’s no place like it!
My role as a Realtor® only began a few years ago, but really, real estate has been a part of my world from the beginning. My grandfather opened one of the first Century 21 offices in Bloomfield in the late 1970s, and my mom worked as his office administrator for many years. Summers were spent in his office, and conversations at family dinners always included some talk about the real estate market. Those conversations were enticing to me - every experience was unique and brought on its own set of challenges and complexities, but there was always the reward of helping those clients find a place to call home. I knew that someday I wanted to learn the ways of the real estate world, and after many years of teaching preschool in Montclair, and then starting my own family, the time was finally right. I’ve had the pleasure of working as an admin to some of the top agents in the area for the last 7 years and continue to expand my real estate experience every single day.
I was born and raised in Bloomfield and am proud to now be raising my family here - there’s something so special about reconnecting with old friends on the soccer field while watching our kids' scrimmage, seeing familiar faces at the bagel shop in the morning, and watching the Brookdale Park fireworks every year on the 4th of July. It’s that feeling of being truly at home in your community. I aspire to help all my clients find that special place to call home!
