November is when we first start seeing the results of the fall real estate market. Traditionally, it’s not as strong as the spring market, but it’s up there. There’s a decent amount of inventory, again, not as much as in the spring, (see our earlier blog post about declining inventory due to climbing interest rates) and the buyers are still out there. If you’re a seller, and can wait till spring, that’s usually the way to go. And if you’re a buyer and didn’t get your house in the spring, don’t be discouraged, the fall still offers great opportunities, but don’t confuse that with getting a deal. Spring or fall, for now, it’s still a sellers’ market!
